Have you ever wanted to create 3D models right on your phone? With Prisma3D, you don’t need a powerful PC or expensive software—your Android device is enough. In this guide, I’ll walk you through everything you need to know to get started: from downloading the app to building and editing your first 3D objects.
Step 1: Install Prisman3D Legacy
First things first: head over to the Google Play Store and download Prisma3D Legacy.
Once it’s installed, open the app and you’ll be greeted with the home menu.
👉 This is where all your future projects will be displayed.
Step 2: Create Your First Project
To begin, tap the “+” icon. This creates a new project. By default, you’ll be in Model Mode—which is where most of the action happens.
Step 3: Mastering Camera Controls
Before building, let’s get comfortable moving around the scene:
- One finger swipe → Rotate the camera around a fixed point.
- Two fingers swipe → Move (pan) the camera freely.
Step 4: Adding Your First Object
- Tap the Preset button at the top-left.
- Choose a shape (let’s go with Cube).
- The cube will appear at the center of your screen.
- Its name will also show up in the Object Tab (top-right).
Step 5: Moving, Rotating, and Scaling Objects
Now the fun part—controlling your object. PrisMan 3D has three main tools:
- Move Tool → Drag arrows to shift the object around.
- Rotate Tool → Spin the object in any direction.
- Scale Tool → Resize or stretch the object.
Step 6: Object Options You Should Know
Objects come with extra options:
- Hide / Unhide → Temporarily remove an object from view.
- Name → Give your object a custom label.
- Copy → Duplicate objects, then drag them apart.
- Group → Combine multiple objects to move them together.
- Center → Lost an object? Bring it back to the middle of your scene.
- Delete → Permanently remove objects.
Step 7: Adding Color, Textures, and Effects
Select any object and open the Material Tab (on the left). Here you can add life to your models:
- Color → Pick from a color list or use advanced controls.
- Texture → Import images from your gallery (wood, metal, fabric, etc.).
- Reflection → Control how shiny or glossy the surface looks.
- Transparency → Adjust opacity for glass-like effects.
Step 8: Switching to Modeling Tools
By default, you’re in Object Mode—but to actually shape and customize your model, switch to one of these:
Face Tool
- Extrude → Pull out or push in a face.
- Knife Cut → Draw a line to slice across a face.
- Loop Cut → Create cuts around the model horizontally or vertically.
Line Tool
- Connect Face → Create a new face between two edges.
- Fill Gap → Close empty spaces with a new face.
Vertex Tool
- Select and move vertices (points).
- Use Delete to remove unwanted ones.
Step 9: Wrapping Up
And there you have it—you’ve just taken your first steps into 3D modeling on mobile! With Prisman3D you can:
✔ Add, move, and reshape objects
✔ Apply colors, textures, reflections, and transparency
✔ Use modeling tools like extrude and cut to customize shapes
✔ Group, duplicate, and manage multiple objects
This guide only scratches the surface. Once you’re comfortable, you’ll be able to create complex 3D models anywhere—whether you’re on the bus, in a café, or lounging at home.
So, go ahead and open Prisman3D. Your first 3D world is waiting to be built. 🚀
