Eagle Drops Tortoise On Man’s Head

An eagle mistook a man’s bald head for a rock, thinking it was the perfect target to drop a tortoise. Eagles often drop tortoises onto rocks to break their shells for an easier meal. Without hesitation, the eagle dropped the tortoise, which fell directly onto the man’s bald head, leading to his death. This event was recorded by a Roman author.
