Spiders Keep Frogs As Pets

A spider and a frog can form an unusual friendship known as a “friends with benefits” relationship. The frog provides a benefit to the spider by helping to eliminate insects or ants that could threaten the spider’s eggs. In return, the spider offers protection to the frog, guarding it against predators that may want to eat it. This unique arrangement is one of the rare examples of mutualism between amphibians and spiders.
